PAINTS (Promote Art in the Schools Inc.) is a non-profit membership organization of parents and community members whose mission is to promote visual arts in the Piedmont schools. Since it’s inception in 1989, PAINTS has awarded over $300,000 for arts education programs district-wide.

We provide a forum for parents, teachers and administrators to focus on planning a coordinated art curriculum throughout the Piedmont Unified School District (PUSD).

Your generous donations provide the following:   
        
• Art stipends fund art supplies for classroom teachers and art specialists in all six Piedmont schools.

• Grants are awarded in the fall to teachers for special art projects ranging from an impressionist painting class for PMS French students to live models for high school art classes to illustrator/author assemblies for all three elementary schools.

• Art Educator Grants are awarded for the professional development of teachers and other staff each year.

• Art Events such as the Chalk Art Festival, Tri-school Art Show, Art IS Education Day and the annual Bird House Gala fundraiser.
